Our mission

We help anyone, Malaysian or visitor, discover places across Malaysia that are worth a day out, from famous landmarks to little-known towns, beaches and trails.

Every state, every community

We cover all states and the cultures of Malays, Chinese, Indians, Orang Asli and the peoples of Sabah and Sarawak with equal respect.

How we choose places

Places are chosen because they make a good trip: easy enough to reach, worth the time, and safe to visit with normal care. No place pays to be included in or ranked in our editorial guides.

We avoid claims we cannot support. Where details such as prices or schedules may change, we say so and suggest checking before you go.

Writers and pen names

Some guides are published under pen names. Guides under these bylines are written and edited by the Next Day Trip editorial team and follow this policy.

Corrections

If a place has closed or changed, or if we got something wrong, email info@nextdaytrip.com with the subject "Correction". We check every report and update the guide when needed.
